Special Purpose Gearbox : There are various equipments like Contra Mixers, Cone Screw Mixers (Nauta Mixers), etc wherein you require operating two elements with different speeds and demanding different power requirements. In such applications TRAXIT Special Purpose Gearbox finds application. In Contra Mixer there are two different mixing elements contra operating but around the same axis of rotation and hence demand for two concentric outputs. Again in a Nauta Type of mixer a Screw Operates around its own axis at a certain speed and at the same time it travels along the vessel wall at a considerably lower speed. Here the power demanded by the screw rotation around its own axis (performing the conveying and mixing action) is higher compared to that demanded by the screw to rotate along the vessel wall. At the same time the output from the gearbox and input to the two driven components have to be concentric to each other. For smaller power, gearboxes can be supplied with one input translated into two outputs and for larger powers the gearboxes are generally supplied with two inputs and two outputs. The application specified above are effectively met by the TRAXIT Special Gearbox, which are tailor made to suit individual client's requirement.
